Shoulder joint actuators

Three degrees of freedom carrying the whole arm at the longest lever arm on the upper body. Torque demand is usually dominated by the arm's own mass at full extension rather than by the payload, so size on the extended-arm case. The pitch axis normally needs the most; roll and yaw can be smaller. Keeping reduction low enough to stay backdrivable means a collision pushes the arm instead of the structure.
