Hardware that fails from a defect in materials or workmanship is replaced outright for six months from delivery, with no restocking fee and no return shipping cost to you. Tell us what the unit did and at what current and bus voltage — it helps us catch a batch problem early if there is one. The warranty does not cover damage from over-voltage, over-current, mechanical overload, ingress, or modification.
Unopened, unused parts in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery. A 15% restocking fee applies and return shipping is at your expense, unless we sent the wrong item, in which case both are on us.
Once a unit has been unpacked and powered it can no longer be returned as unwanted stock. If it is faulty it is covered by the warranty above; if it is simply not the right part for the job, talk to us before you buy — that is what our engineers are for, and it costs you nothing.
Shipping is not refunded. Where an order shipped free because it passed the free-shipping threshold, the freight we actually paid is deducted from the refund if the order is returned. This is the one that surprises people, so we would rather say it plainly than apply it quietly.
Custom windings, custom gear ratios, and quantities of ten or more of one model are ordered or built to your requirement and are not returnable unless defective.
Email info@picassointelligence.com with your order reference and what went wrong. We will issue an RMA number and the return address for that particular return — where a part should go depends on what it is and why it is coming back, so please do not ship anything before you have both. Returns that arrive without an RMA cannot be matched to an order and will be held.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within five business days of the parts arriving and being inspected.
